Down by Port Everglades, there’s a quiet stretch of beach visited mostly by locals and sea turtles. I like to take picnics there or watch the sunset. Sea turtles like to come ashore to hatch their eggs. No matter what you do there, the “jetties” (as they’re known to locals) are a peaceful place to listen to the waves crash into the rocks and watch the boats sail in and out of the harbor.
